Belonga

Terms of Service

Effective August 5, 2026

Operated by Forma Labs Technologies, LLC

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Belonga mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Forma Labs Technologies, LLC (“Belonga,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account, selecting “I agree,” or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Belonga Privacy Policy and any Community Guidelines or feature-specific rules incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. The Service is intended for working professionals and is not directed to children.

2. Belonga's Service

Belonga provides a verified-anonymous professional community. Depending on the version available to you, the Service may allow eligible members to verify professional status, submit structured company or office reviews, view aggregate workplace results, request or participate in anonymous peer-feedback chats, create an optional private career-development profile, receive educational recommendations, and access partner discounts or scholarship opportunities.

Belonga does not act as an employer, recruiter, educational institution, accreditor, admissions authority, scholarship adjudicator, or financial-aid provider. Unless expressly stated, Belonga is not a party to transactions between a member and an education provider.

3. Eligibility, Verification, and Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account, except to the extent caused by Belonga's failure to use reasonable safeguards.

Belonga may use LinkedIn or another approved method to confirm that you are a real professional or have a legitimate association with a company, office, institution, or professional community. Verification does not constitute an endorsement, credential check, background check, or guarantee that all information supplied by a member is accurate.

You may not create multiple accounts to manipulate results, evade enforcement, obtain duplicate limited benefits, or impersonate another person. We may require re-verification or additional checks when reasonably necessary to protect platform integrity.

4. Verified Anonymity and Its Limits

Belonga is designed to prevent your name and ordinary account identity from being displayed with structured reviews, aggregate results, or anonymous peer-feedback messages. The Privacy Policy describes the implemented separation between identity, review activity, and other data domains.

Anonymity is not absolute. A person may infer identity from information you voluntarily disclose, unusual circumstances, timing, writing style, screenshots, or information available outside Belonga. Do not disclose information that could identify you or another person unless you accept that risk and have the right to disclose it.

Belonga does not promise that no member, employer, provider, government authority, or third party will ever infer or attempt to discover a member's identity. We do promise not to disclose identities contrary to the Privacy Policy, except as legally permitted or required.

5. Structured Reviews and Aggregate Results

You may submit structured ratings and controlled-choice responses about companies, offices, universities, or other eligible organizations with which you have a genuine relationship. You must provide honest responses based on your own experience and may not submit fabricated, purchased, coordinated, retaliatory, or duplicative reviews.

Belonga may combine eligible responses into aggregate percentages, scores, contributor counts, trends, or other statistical outputs. Aggregate results are informational and may not be representative, complete, current, or statistically significant. Belonga may apply minimum-contributor thresholds, suppression rules, fraud controls, weighting, or other integrity measures.

You do not have a right to require publication of a submission or preservation of a particular aggregate result. Belonga may exclude, remove, recalculate, or suppress data when reasonably necessary to protect anonymity, comply with law, correct errors, or preserve platform integrity.

6. Anonymous Peer-Feedback Chat

Peer-feedback chat is optional. A request or acceptance does not reveal the parties' names through the normal interface. You control whether you are available for requests and which office or organization contexts you are willing to discuss.

You are solely responsible for information you choose to disclose in a conversation. Do not disclose personal data about another person, confidential employer information, trade secrets, privileged material, nonpublic client information, health information, or details that could reasonably create a safety risk.

Recipients may copy, screenshot, retain, or disclose messages outside Belonga despite these Terms. Belonga cannot prevent every misuse. You may block or report users through available controls.

7. User Content and License

“User Content” includes structured review responses, chat messages, feedback, reports, and other material you submit through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the rights granted below.

You grant Belonga a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, moderate, analyze, aggregate, de-identify, display, and distribute User Content solely as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service; enforce these Terms; comply with law; and generate aggregate results. This license continues for retained aggregate or de-identified information after account closure.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit User Content and that your submission and Belonga's permitted use will not violate law, confidentiality duties, contractual restrictions, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or other rights.

8. Optional Career Development Profile

The Career Development feature is optional and separate from anonymous workplace reviews and peer-feedback chat. At launch, it may use a structured questionnaire covering broad professional context, skills, goals, learning preferences, time availability, budget range, and interest in credentials, discounts, or scholarships.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information. Unless Belonga expressly adds and discloses a résumé feature in a later version, you should not upload or paste a résumé into questionnaire or feedback fields.

Belonga will not use the companies or offices you reviewed, your individual review responses, anonymous chat messages, or LinkedIn verification details to build your career-development profile or personalize education offers.

9. AI-Assisted Recommendations

Belonga may use artificial intelligence and rules-based systems to analyze your optional questionnaire and recommend skills, learning paths, educational programs, certifications, discounts, or scholarship opportunities.

AI outputs are informational suggestions, not professional, educational, employment, legal, financial, or admissions advice. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your circumstances. You should independently evaluate program quality, accreditation, prerequisites, cost, time requirements, transferability, and expected benefit.

Belonga does not guarantee admission, scholarship selection, certification, licensure, promotion, employment, salary improvement, or any other result. Belonga will not permit an AI recommendation system to make a final decision on behalf of an independent provider unless separately disclosed and legally reviewed.

10. Sponsored Education Offers, Discounts, and Scholarships

Belonga may display organic recommendations and paid or sponsored recommendations. Belonga may receive placement fees, referral compensation, affiliate commissions, administrative fees, or other consideration from education providers or sponsors. Paid relationships will be disclosed in a manner designed to be clear and conspicuous.

Sponsorship does not give a provider access to your Belonga identity, questionnaire responses, LinkedIn verification information, review activity, company-review history, or anonymous chat activity. Providers purchase visibility or fund benefits; they do not purchase access to members.

Belonga may require providers to offer a genuine member benefit, such as a tuition discount, waived fee, funded seat, scholarship, extended trial, or other material benefit. Offer availability, eligibility, deadlines, course terms, refunds, accreditation, and fulfillment are controlled by the provider unless Belonga expressly states otherwise.

Belonga's display of a provider or program is not an endorsement or guarantee. You are responsible for reviewing the provider's terms, privacy policy, accreditation claims, pricing, refund rules, and suitability.

11. Offer Codes and Eligibility Tokens

Broad discounts may use a shared campaign code that can be forwarded or used by people outside Belonga. Belonga does not guarantee exclusivity for a shared code.

Limited scholarships or controlled benefits may use a random, single-use eligibility token. A token is intended not to encode your name, email address, employer, questionnaire answers, or Belonga account identifier. The provider receives only the token, offer identifier, validity or expiration information, and redemption result necessary to administer the benefit.

Belonga may retain limited records connecting issuance to an account, or recording validity, expiration, redemption status, and suspected misuse, where reasonably necessary to prevent duplicate issuance, enforce eligibility, investigate abuse, or comply with law. Belonga will not provide the provider with a mapping between the token and your Belonga account unless you expressly authorize a specific disclosure or law requires it.

Eligibility tokens are personal, revocable, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be sold, exchanged, published, or used to obtain more than the stated benefit. Belonga or the provider may reject an expired, duplicated, altered, transferred, or fraudulently obtained token.

12. Scholarship Applications and Provider Transactions

Unless an offer states otherwise, scholarship applications, enrollment, payment, and program participation occur directly between you and the education provider. When you leave Belonga and submit information to a provider, the provider collects and handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Belonga does not send your questionnaire responses or anonymous activity to a provider merely because you click an offer, validate a token, apply, or enroll. The provider may know that an applicant arrived through a Belonga offer, but it should not receive information identifying the applicant as a particular Belonga account.

Belonga is not responsible for provider decisions, application outcomes, cancellations, tuition changes, refunds, course quality, accreditation, credit transfer, instructor conduct, or fulfillment. Disputes regarding a provider's program or payment must generally be resolved with that provider.

13. Prohibited Conduct

Provide false verification information, impersonate another person, or misrepresent eligibility.

Submit a review without genuine experience or coordinate, buy, sell, solicit, or manipulate reviews, ratings, chats, scholarship applications, referrals, redemptions, or aggregate results.

Identify, dox, threaten, harass, stalk, discriminate against, retaliate against, or attempt to unmask another member.

Disclose another person's personal information, confidential business information, trade secrets, privileged material, or nonpublic client information without authorization.

Use scraping, bots, automated extraction, reverse engineering, credential stuffing, unauthorized security testing, malware, or other means to access or disrupt the Service.

Use the Service for unauthorized recruiting, lead generation, surveillance, targeted advertising, data brokerage, or commercial solicitation.

Share, sell, publish, transfer, alter, duplicate, or fraudulently obtain an eligibility token or limited benefit.

Use Belonga branding, provider branding, or scholarship claims in a misleading or unauthorized manner.

Encourage, assist, or attempt any prohibited conduct.

14. Moderation, Integrity, and Enforcement

Belonga may use automated tools and human review to detect fraud, manipulation, abuse, token misuse, security threats, and violations of these Terms. We are not required to monitor every submission, message, offer, or provider and do not guarantee immediate detection.

We may reject, remove, suppress, aggregate, de-rank, preserve, or disable access to content; invalidate or suspend offer tokens; restrict features; require re-verification; suspend or terminate accounts; notify providers of token invalidity without identifying the member; or take other reasonable action.

You may report suspected violations through in-app controls or at support@formalabstech.com. If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by replying to our decision notice or contacting support@formalabstech.com with your account details and a brief explanation; we will review and respond within a reasonable time.

15. Intellectual Property

The Service, excluding User Content and third-party content, is owned by Forma Labs Technologies, LLC and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, Belonga grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Provider names, course descriptions, trademarks, and materials may belong to their respective owners. No license is granted except as necessary to view and evaluate an offer through the Service.

16. Third-Party Services

The Service may interact with LinkedIn, app stores, cloud, notification, email, AI, analytics, and education-provider services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Belonga is not responsible for their independent availability, content, security, or data practices.

Your use of LinkedIn through Belonga remains subject to LinkedIn's applicable terms. Belonga is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn unless expressly stated.

17. Service Changes and Beta Features

Belonga may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including questionnaires, recommendation methods, partner programs, codes, scholarships, or beta functionality. We may impose reasonable limits and will provide notice where required by law.

Beta or experimental features may contain defects, change without notice, or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, preservation of every draft or message, delivery of notifications, continued availability of any provider offer, or future eligibility for a benefit.

18. Account Closure and Data Treatment

You may close your account through available controls or by contacting privacy@formalabstech.com. The Privacy Policy explains deletion, retention, aggregation, backups, legal holds, anonymous review contributions, chat data, career-development profiles, and eligibility-token records.

Closing an account does not reverse information you independently submitted to an education provider. Contact the provider directly regarding its records.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including retained aggregate or de-identified data rights, intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms — will survive.

19. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” BELONGA DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

BELONGA DOES NOT GUARANTEE ANONYMITY AGAINST INFERENCE OR SELF-DISCLOSURE; THE ACCURACY, REPRESENTATIVENESS, OR CURRENCY OF REVIEWS OR AGGREGATES; THE ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUTS; THE QUALITY OR ACCREDITATION OF A PROVIDER; THE AVAILABILITY OR VALUE OF AN OFFER; OR ANY ADMISSION, SCHOLARSHIP, EMPLOYMENT, PROMOTION, CERTIFICATION, OR FINANCIAL RESULT.

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORMA LABS TECHNOLOGIES, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY, SCHOLARSHIP, OR REPUTATION; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USER CONTENT, PROVIDER CONDUCT, AI OUTPUTS, IDENTIFICATION THROUGH DISCLOSURE OR INFERENCE, TOKEN MISUSE, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, OR SERVICE INTERRUPTION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FORMA LABS TECHNOLOGIES, LLC'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US $100), OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BELONGA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Forma Labs Technologies, LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from: (a) your User Content; (b) information you disclose about yourself or others; (c) your misuse or transfer of a benefit or token; (d) your violation of these Terms or law; or (e) your infringement or violation of another person's rights.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at support@formalabstech.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

If informal resolution does not succeed, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you and Belonga each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

23. App Store Terms

If you obtain Belonga through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store terms also apply, and the following applies to the extent required by the relevant store:

These Terms are between you and Belonga only, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC, and Apple/Google are not responsible for the Service or its content.

Apple and Google have no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the Service.

In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google, and they may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, neither will have any other warranty obligation with respect to the Service.

Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the Service, including product-liability claims, claims that the Service fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer-protection or similar law.

Apple and Google are not responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, or discharge of any claim that the Service infringes a third party's intellectual-property rights.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

You must comply with any applicable third-party agreement terms (for example, your wireless carrier's data-service agreement) when using the Service.

Apple Inc. and Google LLC, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and each may enforce them directly against you.

24. Electronic Communications

You consent to receive service-related notices electronically through the Service or email. Marketing communications, if any, will be handled according to applicable law and your preferences. You are responsible for maintaining current contact information and device settings.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and updating the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide advance notice through the Service, email, or another reasonable method where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance except where law requires renewed affirmative consent.

26. General Terms

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Headings are for convenience only.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and applicable feature-specific terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
